Moses Ssali known as Bebe Cool was born on September 1st 1977.

Bebe Cool, who is a ragga musician from Uganda started his career in Nairobi, Kenya around the year 1997. Together with popular artist Redsan and his compatriot Chameleone, Bebe Cool was one of the first artists affiliated with Ogopa DJ's, a production house and record label based in Kenya.
A few years after Bebe's long struggle to stardom, he moved back to his native country- Uganda where he persued his dream career of becoming a popular and talented artiste/ musician.

Since moving back to Uganda, Bebe Cool has released many Amazing singles and albums that have been major hit around Uganda, Africa and around the world. Two of Bebe Cool's first, most popular singles are "Fitina" and "Mambo Mingi".
He also collaborated with Halima Namakula, a Ugandan veteran woman musician, on their crossover track "Sambagala".
Bebe Cool, who's lyrics are in Luganda, Swahili and English has released two solo albums, Maisha and Senta with in the first five years of his career.

Bebe Cool has won several prizes at the Pearl of Afica Music Awards (PAM Awards).He was nominated for the Kora All- African Awards in 2003 and 2005.

Not only has Bebe Cool done many various shows in and around Uganda and Africa, he has had tours in the United Kingdon (UK) and the United States of America (US).

Together with Kenyan duo Necessary Noize, Bebe Cool has recently formed a reggae group known as the East African Bashment Crew. They have released one album, Fire, and two hit singles, "Africa Unite" and "Fire".

Bebe Cool has, after a run as the notorious bad boy of Ugandan music, finally turned around. He is husband to model and former Miss Uganda contestant Zuena Kirema and is now a father of two.

Apart from writing music, singing and being a great father and husband to his family, Bebe Cool is involved in various community activities. He is under the umbrella M. Community. This was set up by musicians in Uganda who want to do a good turn. They do community work like cleaning markets like the Jinja market, wells like one in Makerere Kikoni and a whole lot more.
