This amazing dance group is made up of 8 talented members, four male and four female called Anita, Vince, Nandi, Sarah, Monella, George, Antonio and Joel.
The group first started dancing together in December 2006.
G-force dances to a big variety of music including salsa, crunk, hip-hop, R&B and cultural dances. G-force is famous for its creativity and originality. They tend to set the pace for all other dancers to follow hence giving them the reputation of being the "trend setters!"
Each G-force member is individually talented which contributes to the quality and style of their performance which makes it a whole lot more interesting to watch and brings out the groups originality. With all the groups amazing talent put together they form a grand force which is where the group name came up from.
The group members are inspired by choreographers like Wade Robson and Davie Scott. They also admire the choreography of artistes like Chris Brown, Michael Jackson and Ciara for the female dancers.
G-force has traveled to perform in many different countries where their talent is recognized and loved including countries like Germany, Tanzania and South Africa, but the group is mainly based in East Africa.
G-force was the first runner up in the mirinda dance festival that took place in March 2008 and they have also made many dance appearances in music videos for famous local artists like Chameleon, Blu3 and Michael Ross. The group also acts as backup dancers for many hit artists including Peter Miles, Kevin Lytle, P square, Blu3 and Michael Ross.
Its been a long road up for the infamous dance group but they can proudly say that they are one of the best, the hottest and the most qualified dance groups in and around East Africa. Their goal is to hopefully now become the best in Africa.
G-force has worked for many corporate and individual companies including Celtel Uganda, Uganda Telecom, Mtn Uganda, AIG, UBL, NIC, DFCU and so many more!
