Airtel ONE8 is a true celebration of Africa through music. It started as a group of African artists with the support of cell phone network company Airtel, who have committed to it for the long haul.  But after the inclusion of megastar R Kelly the group has exploded into a massive music project.

Airtel has been on board since the start, they have kept a backstage role, allowing the artists the space and freedom to create this amazing band and single on our own. But essentially this was their brain child right from the start.
The project is also produced, marketed and distributed by Rockstar 4000, an affiliate of Sony Music Worldwide.
The songs are being written by all of the artists – a true collaboration of African talent. Everyone is bringing their own unique sound and style to the project, which will make it truly Pan-African. The first single was recorded with R Kelly, who’s played a crucial role in defining R&B and Hip-Hop as we know it today around the world.

There is also an album that is going to be released, which showcases the individual styles of the different members of One8.
