Toniks Biography

Toniks came up on the Ugandan music scene early 2008 and is currently the freshest thing in R&B. With his silky voice and a passion on stage that have made him a favorite with the ladies.  Toniks started his art while in O’Level at King’s College Budo were his talent and skills on the guitar where unmistakable. He later move to Ntare school for his A’level which turned out to be the ice breaker because it was while in Mbarara that he met Aydee(Goodenuff Studios) his current producer.
Alas songs like Beera nange(Be With Me) that earn Toniks his first PAM Award for Best R&B single 2008 and an MTV Africa nomination for listener’s choice award in his debut year. Others songs by him include Nsuubiza(Promise Me), I’ll be there and his latest single Akwagala Yenze ( Its me who love you) has also hit the air waves.
Toniks has done a multitude of shows all over Uganda and alongside the very best talent like at the Dome Concert in Uganda 2008 where he curtain raised for P Square.  He is now signed to Talent256 International and plans to take his career to the next level.
